It's official. My youngest son exists. He is a real person who will grow to be an adult with a driving record, a credit history, and much more. His social security card came in the mail. There was his name in black and white on the government-issued paper.

I know, I know. I'm easily amused these days.

  1. OMG! When we got Cole's SSN and then his birth certificate, I was so enthralled. I kept staring at both and was pleased as punch to know he was an official person recognized by the government. Totally cool. I, too, am easily amused.

  2. Okay, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, though we MAY be just a little bit dorky for this!
